Resident participation is central to the ongoing success of the Association. We want our residents to play a meaningful role in shaping what we do, so we have created the opportunities for them to get involved.
We are aware that not everyone wants to become so involved as to join the Management Committee, so we try to provide a range of options to encourage individual residents to participate as much as they want. Residents can respond to the open consultations that we regularly carry out, join our Consultation Register, join one of our Residents Focus Groups (which look at different aspects of what we do), use our Complaints Procedure (if necessary) to complain about something that they are not happy with, or become a member of the Association and join the Management Committee.
We intend to review our Tenant Participation Strategy in 2013. Any tenant wishing to help with this please let us know. Residents’ views are important. Knowing what is important allows us to tailor our work to suit.
